"Playing with Fire", Book 1 of the FIRE Trilogy, will be succeeded by "Dancing with Fire" and "Living with Fire". And Book 2 and Book 3 will be released on the same day, so you won't die waiting! :-)
To whet your appetite, here's a short excerpt:

“We need to hurry,” Kyle shouted, and his excitement was not only audible but also palpable, with tiny flames sizzling in the air around him like the sparks of a bonfire.
Felicia felt it leap into her bones and mingle with the adrenaline rush.
“He’s calling us,” he added in a reverent hush, in such stark contrast to his shout and brightly glittering eyes that it made her blink.
“Who?” she asked, feeling foolish when he rolled his eyes at her.
“The volcano. The Katla.”
She swallowed.
“Can you hear it?” she asked, her voice automatically lowering to a whisper too.
He shook his head and raked his hands through his hair, making it stick up on all sides as if the wind weren’t enough to tousle it.
“We’re too far away for me to hear it speak, but I am sure this is a message meant for us.”
“Pray tell, what does the message say? I’m afraid I haven’t quite mastered this language yet,” Joshua’s icy, cutting voice interrupted.
Felicia and Kyle glared at him, and Kyle took a subtle step closer to Felicia, stepping into Joshua’s way with his towering, bulky frame.
“I wouldn’t expect you to understand any of this,” he scoffed before turning to her and adding in a rush, “I know we have to hurry up. He’s getting impatient. And I don’t think we should risk angering him…not when we have plans for him.”
His words confused her, but she had no chance to ask anything because he turned and pointed ahead. “Not far now, let’s get going.”
She followed the direction of his finger, and for a moment the view took her breath away. Beneath them, stretching impossibly far, was…what was it? A desert of sorts?
